OK GO'S LATEST MIND BENDING VIDEO

I have written about Ok Go's crazy music videos before. This group is incredibly creative, both musically and visually. There color palette, costuming and choreography are on point. But, seriously, my mind is BLOWN but this latest video for the single 'Upside Down & Inside Out'. It was shot entirely in zero gravity. No special effects. Enough said.

MORE TALENTED PUPS

Without going totally crazy posting videos with cute pups, I couldn't help but share one more as an addendum to yesterday's post. The fabulous band OK Go is known for its super creative music videos, most notably this choreographed treadmill number. This video, for their song White Knuckles, features some equally great "dance" moves, aided by a troop of adorable and talented dogs. Awesome! Keep it coming OK Go!

I have written about the band OK GO's amazing music videos before (see here and here), but this one may be my favorite. I love the intricate interplay of color and perspective and, of course, the occasional introduction of stripes and polka dots!

HOLLA!

Hi all! How was your weekend? I had a fabulous time in Toronto and my presentation on Friday went super well. I got some great feedback and am looking forward to refining my text, presenting it again and trying to get it published. All good, right?

I still have to give you guys a sneak peak into my argument for the paper—I can promise I will do that tomorrow! Until then, I am using this awesome hand-drawn text by Brad Simon (taken from his Tumblr series here; found via OK Great here) to give myself a proverbial pat on the back. Is that too much?
