MINIMAL MEETS METEOROLOGICAL

Do you remember this, this and this? Well, I have another design-y screensaver for you: the Weather screensaver created by Stefan Trifan. It is simple and beautiful and covers a huge number of cities from all over the world so you are sure to be able to find your local weather. Though only for Mac users at the moment, I am happy to report that it is free!

Learn more and download it yourself on Stefan's website here.

p.s. Along with this, this weather screensaver is totally making checking the forecast in the morning much more fun!

APPLE LOVE

This weekend I did something big. I bought a new computer! My old computer—faithfully known as Prince Humperdink—was getting rather elderly at age 4.5. And since we all know how much I am obsessed with Apple products, I waited until they released a new round of MacBook Pros and I bought one! I can't believe how amazing it is: nearly 8 hour battery life, amazing graphics, super fast. Seriously, check it out here.

And have you heard about the release of the second generation iPad? If possible it seems even more revolutionary than the first one. It has a front and rear camera, is significantly thinner, and has a sweet magnetically connected screen cover. Awesome. Now if I could only justify purchasing an iPhone, a MacBook Pro and an iPad all in one year.

NEW SAFARI HISTORY GRAPHIC

Amidst my myriad computer issues this weekend/week I discovered a cool new feature on Apple's web browser Safari: a graphic proscenium of your recent history. How cool is that? See those little stars in the top right corner? Those are your super star sites . . . love it!

For all you Mac users, download your update and check it out for yourself by opening a new tab.

For all you PC users - get a Mac! Just kidding (not really)!
