HAPPY EASTER!

Happy (almost) Easter! Do you have any fun plans this weekend, whether you celebrate Easter or not? I am heading home to hang out with my family, eat way too much delicious food, and generally enjoy some nice spring weather. But you know what else I will be up to this weekend? Crafting, of course! Here are a couple of fun Easter-themed projects you might like to do too . . .

EASTER CRAFTS

I have been daydreaming about all the fun Easter crafts I am going to do this weekend (though, knowing my schedule, I may not manage to make any!) and thought I would share some of my favorite how tos with you. Even if you don't celebrate Easter, most of these would be fun to ring in spring!

Yesterday my friend Elisabeth kindly pointed me towards an AMAZING contest run by the Washington Post every Easter. Now in its fourth year this contest gets over 1000 entries: marshmallow Peep treats gallivanting in elaborately made dioramas. Many of the entries are incredibly clever and hilarious. In the spirit of Easter I couldn't help but share them with you.

See more entries on the Washington Post here and click on the images above for more of my favorites (posted on my Flickr site). And have a happy easter!
