Have you heard of the Jazz Age Lawn Party? It's a fabulous bi-annual summer fete on Governor's Island where all of the attendees dress up in 1920s garb and dance the Charleston to big band music. Basically, it's awesome!

I have wanted to go for several years now, but it wasn't until my fabulous friend Kate (fourth photo from the top) decided to host her birthday party there this past weekend that I actually got my act together and headed over! I was so impressed with how nattily dressed everyone was and have vowed to search for a great outfit and go back next year to show it off. In the meantime I will just have to use all these fun photos I took as inspiration. Hope you like them!
